Don’t forget to swap your paper for plastic

Is your FAA airman, mechanic, repairman, or pilot certificate still printed on paper? If so, don’t forget to replace your paper certificate for a plastic one by March 31, 2013 to retain your privileges.
The FAA is under a mandate to replace all paper certificates with plastic certificates. To replace your certificate visit the FAA online at: http://www.faa.gov/licenses_certificates/airmen_certification/certificate_replacement/.
The agency’s usual response time for processing a certificate request is four to six weeks. However, it is already cautioning that it is experiencing significant lag due to increased demand. To avoid any delay in privileges be sure to act today.
